This edition consists of a single volume of about 24 pages, with text and images.

Aerial Age Weekly was the magazine of the Aero Club of America. (The Aero Club of America was established in 1905, and issued the first pilot's licenses in the U.S.)

The Wright Brothers’ first powered flight in 1903, just 13 years before this 1916 edition, gave birth to an impressive industry, and advancements in aeronautics that easily compare with gains in our modern modern computer society’.

The advertisements in this magazine are a history lesson in themselves; engine choices were astonishing:  90,120,140 H.P. etc, straight-six, V-8’s, turbines, etc, etc.  Want to be a pilot > “Learn to fly a Sea Plane, or a Fying Boat”. Or how about an Aeroplane just for Sportsmen ?

BE SURE TO READ THE ADVERTISEMENTS !!

This magazine, is packed with history, and a pleasure to read !
